Eligibility Criteria for WB Police Recruitment:
Post Name: ConstablesNo of Vacancies: 5707 Posts
Pay Scale: Rs.5,400 – 25,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2,600/-.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should pass Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum and Maximum Age Limit is 18 years to 27 Years as on 01.01.2018.
Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 05 (Five) years for the candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST, and 03 years for OBC Candidates.
Language Proficiency: The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali Language. However, this provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.
