Railway Recruitment:

East Central Railway has published notification to hire eligible candidates for the posts of Scout & Guide Quota in (Group ‘C’ & Group ‘D’ posts) for its Headquarter and Division. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (Link is given below) along with testimonials. Educational qualification and all other details regarding candidate selection, how to apply, pay scale, and Age limit all are given below. Railway Recruitment Details:

(1) Post Name: Group C 
No of Vacancy: 02 Posts (Headquarter Office of E.C.Railway)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass with 50% marks from recognized Board or its equivalent or higher education.
Age Limit: 18 years to 28 years as on 01.01.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

(2) Post name: Group D
No of Vacancy:10 Posts

Educational Qualification: 10th pass from recognized Board plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass from recognized Board plus ITI OR 10th Pass from recognized Board.
Age Limit: 18 years to 31 years as on 01.01.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Eligibility Qualification for Scout and Guide Quota:  
(a) A President Scout/Guide/ Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder in any section;
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 05 years. The “Certificate of Activeness” should be as per Annexure-“C” and
(c) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railways’ level AND Two events at State Level.

Upper age relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for Physically Challenged Persons.

Candidates Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Scouting Skill Assessment. For more details regarding candidate selection please visit the official website- www.ecr.indianrailways.gov.in 

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- SC/ST/Exservicemen/PWD/Women/Minorities and Economics Backward Classes as Examination Fee. 

Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO, East Central Railway, payable at Hajipur.
