Sikkim Public Service Commission Recruitment 2017:

Sikkim Public Service Commission has published a notification to hire the eligible candidates for the posts of Accounts Clerk /Junior Store Keeper on the temporary regular basis in the Sikkim Sub-Ordinate Accounts Service under Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Department, through Direct Recruitment. Eligibility Criteria for Accounts Clerk /Junior Store Keeper post


Total Vacancies: 227 Nos.

Educational Qualification:

a) Class XII examination passed an equivalent from a recognized Board with a pass in Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class X(Ten).

b) Candidate should possess a certificate/diploma in the basic course in computer application of minimum 03(three) months.

c) Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Identification Certificate issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government.

Other requisites :

a)Candidates should have knowledge of any of the State Languages viz-Nepali, Bhutia, Lepcha, should possess valid Local Employment Card, Conversant with the local customs/ traditions and knowledge of Sikkim, Category Certificate, and Sikkim Subject Certificate or Identification Certificate.

b) Valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim

c) Category Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim

d) No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department in case of the regular employed candidate.

Age Limit: Age : Should have attained the age of 18 years, but should not have exceeded 40 years as on 30/11/2017, in terms of Notification No: M(3)/(55)/GEN/DOP/Pt-III DT: 03/07/2017.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2600/-

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written examination/ Interview.

Application Fee . Application fee amounting to `150/- only with additional bank charges may be paid online through credit/debit card, Net Banking by Visa/MasterCard. The amount once deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted for any other purpose. Candidates belonging to PWD Category are exempted from paying the fees.
